HERO Financing Makes Sense
The Home Energy Renovation Opportunity (HERO) Program was created by the Western Riverside Council of Governments, and Anaheim is one of more than 400 hundred HERO California communities that are helping homeowners save money, create jobs locally, and encourage sustainability.
In California alone, HERO, a Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program, has helped to create more than 6,500 jobs, funded more than 38,000 residential projects, and provided more than $760 million in financing to homeowners.
"The HERO Program has been proven to create jobs, reduce energy bills, and decrease water consumption," Vice President of Community Development for Renovate America Blair McNeill said. "With cities looking for ways to support conservation, now is a good time for homeowners to embrace PACE programs like HERO."
Homeowners in Anaheim can pay for otherwise costly renovations while creating work for local contractors. Easily apply online or over the phone for 100% financing for energy-efficient home repairs and renovations through the HERO Program, as well as water-conservation solutions. There is no application fee, and it only takes a few moments to determine if your property is approved.
The HERO Program was recently awarded the Governor’s Environmental and Economic Leadership Award in California, the Urban Land Institute Best of the Best, and the Southern California Association of Governments President’s Award for Excellence.
